How to Keep Your Warranty Valid
To maintain your warranty, ensure your car is serviced according to the manufacturer's guidelines. You must report any faults within 14 days of discovery. For MOT insurance claims, these must be made within 30 days of MOT failure.
If your vehicle lacks a full service history, it must be serviced by a VAT-registered garage within 1 month or 1,000 miles (whichever comes first), and then annually or every 10,000 miles thereafter.
How Much Does the Warranty Cost?
The price of the MotorProtect Extended Warranty depends on your car's value. You can include the cost in your finance agreement. Please ask your sales associate for further information on costings.
Is the MotorProtect Extended Warranty Worth It?
The MotorProtect Extended Warranty is a smart choice to help avoid costly repairs. For example, a one-year warranty from Motorprotect starts at £399, and considering that a modern gearbox repair can cost anywhere from £1,500 to £6,000, it could save you a significant amount. Repairs for parts like the starter motor (ranging from £240 to £1,570) or alternator (costing up to £1,500) can add up quickly.
